On the suggestion of a friend, my little Lego photographer now has a name – Henri! It seemed appropriate as a tribute to Henri Cartier-Bresson. We took a little jaunt down to the deserted village railway station this morning, where it dawned on me just how tricky it’s going to be to capture a sense of the figure and the background together using a macro lens. The depth of field this lens captures is very minimal so I’m going to have to think creatively. That wasn’t going to stop me though, and I managed to include the fast train to Birmingham in the back of my second picture, as it came hurtling past the opposite platform.
