Creative thinking

I’ve been trying to find ways to take more creative photos this year, partly through the daily pinhole project I did in January. While I’m not shooting pinhole photos every day now I have continued to do some slow photography several times a week and I had some fun finishing off my latest roll of film in the grounds of Audley End this morning.

The other focus of my walk to was to use my Fuji X100 more creatively, shooting some multiple exposures and looking for different angles on familiar subjects.

I came away with a handful of successful photos, but the biggest surprise was getting distracted by the water pouring through the sluice gate on the river. I used it in a double exposure, but also took lots of slowish exposures of the rushing water with the intention of creating an abstract triptych.
