Flying machines

We made another visit to Duxford today, although on this occasion there were very few things taking to the skies. The hangars are still closed at the moment, but it was possible to look in through the open doors of one of the older buildings.

Down at the modern American hangar we had to peer through the huge windows. As we did so I noticed the reflection of the clouds against the glass and the P47 Thunderbolt hanging inside almost seemed to be flying out through them.

Finally, as we explored some more of the outdoor exhibits I noticed some starlings in a nearby tree. One was looking particularly glossy in the warm sunshine so I waited patiently to catch a portrait of it calling to the others.

I love how sharp #1 is. Great to see you back. Are you done with the pinhole right now?

Thanks Craig! I'm far from done with pinhole, but I do still like to dabble in digital!
