Beautiful to say the least. You have captured the scenes and landscapes in a perfect setting. Unreal. Thank you for sharing.

Oh this is wonderful what a fabulous time you must have had, I to am so sad about how things are going but I have had so many problems with the new PB and still they have not been sorted out, it is so time consuming posting one capture at a time and trying to track your friends I am despondent about it all and I have lost my enthusiasm I will keep my account open but already I am getting more contact on FB than here on PB and so many people are leaving..........something has gone so wrong I don't think Ram realised that this blog was a community of people who not only like photography but the friendships they had made over the years...........some of the friends I made have been supportive to me in difficult times these things are important and as important as the photography we all enjoy.

Thanks Gillian, well I saved myself from these stormy new development times by being absent and came now back to feed my curiosity and generally I like what I see though I miss the forum and the possibility to upload more pics than one at once. Of course I miss the old fashioned charme but I remember that a lot of us were asking for changes and that is what we got. The problem is that it is not OUR blog and it never was but a resource for someone to earn some money and it has to be shaped to the internet environment as it now and not as it was 10 years ago. From that point of view the only other possibility was to shut it down. Might be in 5 years we will have PB as an app on our mobile phone because that is the direction where the internet is running to. However I think that the spirit could be kept if people really try and use all the possibilities offered.

I am in agreement with you Gerd. Peoples false sense of "ownership" just because they posted here for years mystifies me. Every new social media site takes some getting used to and hopefully this one has been rejuvenated in a way that was needed and will thrive for more years to come.

Thanks Helen, I am not sure about my staying here. Just came back to have a look on the finalized blog. Honestly said, it looks nice but it were the people who kept me here. Wfo is still here except you?

I know what you mean Gerd - I'm so sad it's all gone so wrong. I feel torn - I have getting on for ten years of posts (almost all of them daily) here and I have a lot of people who look at my blog from outside Photoblog so to move elsewhere would make no sense at all. However, I can understand why so many of the longstanding members feel put out by the way the changeover has happened. My feeling is that it's only been a month and we should give Ram the chance to develop things further. As for the whole nude photo thing, I appreciate the principle involved. However, surely it's better to be trying to help Ram find a way to solve this problem rather than just leaving and complaining from outside. I am considering posting something in the feedback forum but I'm also reluctant to for fear of getting shot down in flames by the outspoken members (not to mention ex-members) of PB. I will miss the people I have got to know well if they leave (although I'm also in touch with many of them via Facebook) but I'm afraid I have too much history here to simply up and leave.
