Aviation Museum

The RA Photo Club was very fortunate to gain access to Ottawa's Aviation Museum on an evening when the museum was closed to the general public.

Rather than photograph complete airplanes (not being an aviation aficionado) I looked for shapes and lines.

Although the bicycle looks a bit incongruous it was in fact a standard part of the cargo for this aircraft. As undercover agents were landed in France they brought their local transport with them.

Some very interesting angles - especially the 4th one, love the jet engine!

I love your choice of subjects and framing. I find this sort of photography so hard - there are always so many distractions in the background in museums.

Yes, backgrounds in this museum are a huge problem. I have been to this museum before and this is the first time I have come close to achieving what I wanted.
