Christmas in the Nation's Capital this year was very white and VERY cold with windchills dipping to -39 degrees centigrade.

We wandered up to the skating rink on Parliament Hill where the protector glass had frosted over in the cold.


It was a beautiful crisp day as we looked over to the plumes of smoke in the frigid air across the river in Gatineau.
