A Winter Walk

by Abigail Gossage January. 29, 2018 1788 views

Sometimes it takes an agreement between photo buddies to go out to get me out the door in winter. Fortunately Sunday was warmer and the sun was out...

We walked across the frozen Ottawa River enjoying the shadows on the Alexandra Bridge.

Along the way we stopped to admire the Parliamentary Library.

Although I have photographed Douglas Cardinal's wonderful curves at the Museum of History many times, there was an added dimension with the snow.

View across the Ottawa River to Parliament Hill from the Museum of History.

Parliament Hill from down by the river.

Somehow I knew when I was shooting that it would work best in b&w.  I am glad you agree.
