Winterlude Bed Races

by Abigail Gossage February. 17, 2018 1140 views

It is the last weekend of Winterlude, the weather was perfect so we took an unsuspecting friend to see the bed races at Dow's Lake. As can be seen below, young people were a significant part of these races.

It was critical that the food survived to the end of the race. It did.

This Mennonite quartet of ladies came from near Elmira just to get in a good skate.

On our way home we stopped to admire the sunset over the Gatineau Hills.

And then one last look at the Christmas lights in the Market before they turn them off for another year.

Such much fun! The people have such a good time. It's visible in all faces - especially in #10. Thanks for sharing this nice series.
