Some Lighter Moments in Shetland

by Abigail Gossage May. 16, 2018 1039 views

Shetland is a wonderful area of Scotland and I will be posting a number of landscapes etc in the coming month but in the meantime I thought a few lighter moments might be appropriate.

These silage coverings were part of a charity fundraising effort.

This phone booth is ancient and worthy but no longer sports a phone.

Although well weathered this box is still in use.

The sign says it all!

Keep Shetland tidy!

This is a genuine working bus shelter and apparently the decor changes every year.

Nothing like a sheep grazing under the drying wash!

The clothes on the line are alive - sheep unruffled.  Nice shot. Are the items in the bus shelter real or is it an excellent trompe l'oeil? Welcome home. Liz
