Tiptoe Through the ...

Each year at this time I swear I will not take any tulip shots as everyone does it and usually much better than me. And each year out I go into the glorious light and try again. Herewith this year's effort:

This year I found that I was drawn to the blooms that were past their "best before date" and leaning towards the abstract.

Stunning beautiful - all of them, but #4 has this translucent vibrant color. *sigh*

Thanks, Sigrid.  I learned the ideal time to shoot was at 6:00 pm when the sunlight is well angled.
