Probably the highlight of the urban/street workshop with Steve Simon was our experience of a Memorial Day Parade in Cambridge. As a foreigner it was an unique experience. Very much a community event, it celebrated American veterans from Bunker Hill to present day.

Thirty-five thousand flags on Boston Common that were carefully maintained by U.S. Marines for the duration of the long Memorial Day weekend.
