Perth Kilt Run

This year was the tenth time the Perth Kilt Run was held to support the Mutiple Sclerosis Society. Originally meant to be a one-time event it has grown over the years to a significant event featuring hundreds of runners.

The start/finish line was on the edge of Stewart Park which allowed space for children to climb over rocks when they got bored.

Kilts came in all sizes

Everyone has a different method of waiting for the race to start...

The leader of the Warriors. The Warriors were a group of folks who in addition to running had to perform battle exercises at given spots along the way where they were judged on their performance.

A family affair...

Waiting for the parade...

Small folk had their own races

The parade was headed up by the Warriors...

...followed by the pipe band who led the hundreds of racers.

Age was no barrier.

Heading home...
