Local Shoot

One of my pet peeves is photographers who feel there is nothing to shoot in their home city. Probably 85% of my archives is made up of local images as opposed to my travel images.

Case in point: last week I went out with a friend around my neighbourhood. Even though I have walked by and in some cases shot before many of the sites we visited (like my bank) I was still able to find new compositions. Enjoy.

Not completely an open-air garage nonetheless the snow is free to blow in.

We decided to check out the stations we had not yet seen on the new LRT system.

Just love it. What we see daily is not noticed no more

love the creative shots you found to share! Good reminder about the wealth of photo ops, all around us. Even the same places & things are constantly changing, depending on the light, aspect, etc....

It is so interesting to see the places  through the lens of a local photographer.

One of the reasons I like your blog so much.  I have been to Prague several times and loved it, so good memories.
