Walks - 1

So far we are being encouraged to take our health walks and I have certainly been taking advantage of that. I am very lucky to be living in the area I do where I can walk along the river.

The Alexandra Bridge

The gate to the Royal Canadian Mint - looks a bit like a Victorian castle

With no people to photograph as they are all self-isolating I looked for shadows and shapes. These are on the curatorial wing of the National Gallery.

Champlain and his Astrolabe, unfortunately the NCC in its wisdom has decided to move him from his spot overlooking the river to another. Their plans are to completely redesign Nepean Point and apparently he has no place there. Pity.

#1 Well done.  I'd love to see a panorama crop too.

#5 What?!  He's more than iconic.  He lost his Indian mate to Tavern on the Hill but where will Champlain go?  Can you start a protest please ?!

Thanks for the tour. You are indeed lucky to be living where you are. Looks like a very nice area, even if it is desolate right now.
