A word of explanation as to why I have not been posting, I have had hardware problems that may have lost my work from this summer. Hopefully not but it remains to be seen.
A couple of weeks ago the RA Photo Club decided to do a socially-distanced outdoor outing at Lansdowne Park in Ottawa. This a redevelopped area that used to house the annual Exhibition and Fair, rather like the State fairs in the US. It has a stadium, mostly unused at the moment thanks to Covid19, a heritage building called the Aberdeen Pavilion aka in local parlance the Cattle Castle and a large modern development of condos, shops and bars and pubs.
The premise set by our fearless leader was to do a night shoot handheld, no tripods allowed, and only play with the ISO. In my case this engendered a lot of noise but we had a great time both shooting and seeing people we had not seen in six months. Slowly we are learning to live in this new society of social distance.

Maybe not socially distant but at least they were having fun in the evening air.

I had the most creepy fun roaming the back corridor behind the stadium seating.
