Now that I am back in the city after nearly five months in the country I have resumed my Covid walks. Hopefully repeating my behaviour from April will get me through this new wave.
My first big walk took me along the Rideau River to where it joins the Ottawa River. The first thing I saw was park workers speaking to someone hidden in their tent setup, presumably asking them to move along. Unfortunately with Covid our homeless numbers have nearly doubled and the social structure does not seem to be capable of helping them all.

Interesting how the emotion evoked by the image changes when rendered in BW

A local feline was having a great time down by the water's edge.

At the Rideau Falls the Rideau River pours into the Ottawa River.

Glad to see your posts again, Abigail. Looking forward to your walks.
