River Walk-2

Today's walk was along the Ottawa River. It was a pleasure to find that in my five months absence from the city that the NCC had managed to finish the repairs to the river bank on the other side that had been so badly damaged by the floods in 2017. So I could cross the Alexandra Bridge, pick up the path beneath the Museum of History and cross the Portage Bridge and return by the path beneath Parliament Hill. A lovely walk.

In preparation for winter the NCC has closed all the steps and stairs that it does not wish to keep clear of snow.

Looking down from the Alexandra Bridge to the workers repairing the under structure.

A remnant from the industrial history of the Quebec side of the river.

What they had to do to rebuild the river shore.

Not far from home now...

Umm what a great walking route in our special city.  Photographically I love the cover, opening image.  Water/foam is a favourite subject for abstracts and yours is terrific!
