An Urban Afternoon

Although I am fascinated by water I was getting a little tired of river walks so I decided to walk the length of the Sparks Street Mall. Usually a pretty boring walk but I was hoping for some decent afternoon winter light and it did not disappoint.

These were almost the only people I saw in two hours; I don't know if it was the cold (warmer than the day before) or Covid but hardly anyone was out.

The end of the line at the bluffs overlooking Lebreton Flats

#3 is eerie and so starkly the reality of the emotional carnage this whole adventure has had on people.. wow

Somehow even more obvious this past weekend.  I think people who had adjusted to the Covid way of life are finding the latest news and lockdowns very unsettling.

These are nice, good light, great shadows, perfect in B&W. And a keen eye.
