By 6:25 am this gorgeous morning we were in the Arboretum which was blissfully empty of folk except for a few. On our way from where I parked the car we went through this spectacular display of tulips, no Tulip Festival this year but the blooms seem to be extra beautiful.
In the Arboretum we discovered that two different types of magnolia had survived the frosts and cool weather of the past few weeks. The weather has changed and today we reached 25 degrees Celsius.
Beautifully peaceful, by the time we left the joggers and bicyclists were starting to pack the paths.
As can be seen from my header photo, all the fruit trees are in full bloom.
A heron very kindly posed for me
And of course, considering my interests there had to be an architectural element!
