Art At Our Feet

Waiting for a train at Bromley South Station on a very cold Sunday morning, I'm drawn to the texture and colour of the yellow line painted on the platform side advising passengers to be cautious of crossing until the train draws to a halt.

Outside the college where I'm studying art, I take this photo of chipped paving slabs because the composition is attractive to me.

More of the yellow line at Bromley South Station.

This ia a photo of where 2 yellow lines joined on the train platform and excessive yellow paint was deposited creating a beautiful composition that has been enhanced by wear & tear from time, footwear and the weathering of wind, sun, rain and snow with some pollution and dust for good measure.
