Katydid

I'm not an entomologist but I like insects such as grasshoppers, cicada, ladybird, butterfly, mantis, antlion and ants since childhood.
Malaysia has different types of insects that Ive never imagine seeing them before. The katydids are one of such that I've never heard of.
I found this katydid in the university's library. This looks mostly like a cricket. It has extremely long antennae and moves faster than a grasshopper. I kept it for three days and put some leaves and dead ants but she didn't even touch them and later died. She was active before death. I'm truly sad for her.
