I'm behind but I will catch up eventually.
When my oldest daughter was in high school (she's 37 now), one Christmas Eve she was up until 3 a.m. finishing making 11 of these buttons for me. They're hand formed with clay and baked, then she sat up into the wee hours of the night sewing them onto one of my shirts. They have been re-sewn onto two other shirts since then, and it's time to move them onto yet another one. I treasure them wonder how many shirts they will button up in their lifetime. (or mine....)
