Cooper Cat, Sept. 20, 1990 - Oct. 23 2007

My faithful and extremely silly and ridiculous cat of 17 years passed away today. He was named after the character from Twin Peaks.
He squeeked instead of meowing, was bulimic, liked to push things off shelves in order get my attention, always playful - right to the end. And he snored, loud enough to wake me up.

I will miss him terribly, but I'm at least glad that he was very healthy right up to his last day and that he didn't suffer and died a natural death.

He was also the subject of many pictures.

He was from the Montreal SPCA (as are my other animals). Support your local shelter and they are the best places to get a pet.

He really liked the corner of the couch

He really liked the back of the couch too.

Just how many ways can a cat stretch out to find a comfortable sleeping position?

"Don't bother me, I'm sleeping."

"Hey, I'm on the radio, get it?"

Legs Everywhere.

Not impressed by my goofiness.

Prosh Paw.

Cooper lording over the girls.

Mr. Serious.

Why sleep in a cat tower when there's a perfectly good table instead.

I always loved his black-tipped nose.

He's not out of focus, he's just furry.

Nose tucked under the tail to keep it warm.

The famous 'Shoulder Cat.' As seen on my profile pic.

Reluctantly cozying up to Laura (I may have posed them).

Taken just a couple of days before he died, ridiculous right to the end.

So sad. I'm sorry H. He was truly loved and this is such a great photo tribute. What a personality. Your place must feel so strange without him.
