Teak Cremation Urn | Day 25

by Heidi Egerman January. 26, 2017 945 views

Due to an extremely difficult and busy day today, I am forced to post a product shot of this beautiful teak cremation urn, made by my husband. We have a small cremation urn business. John makes the urns and I am responsible for the marketing and photography for our website and our Etsy shop.

This beautiful one-of-kind wood cremation urn was designed and sculpted from hand-selected teak and is one of my favorites. The pen was crafted from the same tree as the urn and we thought it would make a unique and special keepsake for a loved one.

Taking pictures of these beautiful urns forced me to study still life and product photography several years ago. Please note that this is not a strategy to market these urns on my photoblog. I like to think that it is similar to a landscape photographer posting a landscape image. In any case... if you are interested in seeing other images you can see them on our Etsy Shop or go to www.everlastingtree.com

This is wonderful. I am blown away by the artistic side you and your husband have. The urn is a beautiful piece and radiates love of the creator in it. Someone will truly treasure it. The wood seems alive in the photo, you did a wonderful job capturing it!

That's a beautiful piece of work. I love the way you've captured all the textures and patterns in the wood.
