I love just about anything that reminds me of the ocean. Our family spent long weekends on the Oregon Coast so I have many fond memories. I have collected many shells, starfish and sand dollars from different parts of the world and I love the opportunity to photograph them for today’s Photoblog post. I am longing for a trip to the beach.

These images were taken in my photo cube with a 50mm prime lens and a Tamron 2X Tele-Converter.

Sea urchins and star fishs - they are both: beautiful and nasty. smile  You caught them well - on the beach and as picture.
Walking on a beach? Never! You will always find me bend over or on my knees searching for beach treasure. We spent our first holiday near the shores of Baltic Sea, I was (successful!) searching amber for two weeks. I came back with a sunburn on my neck like a every other of my colleagues, who spent the same time on an excavation ...
