This is our best boy Ben, who we lost just over a year ago. I loved looking for these pictures and reminiscing. Ben and his buddy Willy, both golden retrievers, figured out how to pull cucumbers off the vines and feast on them throughout the season. I always grew more cucumbers than I could possibly use – for the dogs and the neighborhood cows.
He was a beautiful dog! Never heard that dogs eat cucumbers, but why not, my dad's dog used to eat peeled uncooked potatos
