I put away my Lensbaby lens today. I have decided not to get rid of this lens just yet, as I was happy with some of the results. This lens made me work very hard for minimal results, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel. You will see more later from this little guy who challenged my aging eyes.
This morning I put on my 50mm lens with my Tamron Tele-Converter. I've had marco lens envy for some time now and simply wanted to take some close up photography. It was interesting because the lens had a difficult time focusing, even though it was capable of auto focus with the Tamron Converter. It forced me to use manual focus, which I had been using for the past 10 days. I am sure that I am getting better at it and will play with this lens throughout the week.
The images that follow were my favorite from today's shoot. I don't think I have ever looked at raspberries as close as I did today. They are quite incredible and I was able to see the transformation process from the blossom into a raspberry. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
