It‘s hard to believe that it is the last day of 2018. First, I would like to congratulate all of you who have completed the 365 Project today. It is an incredible accomplishment and you should all be very proud of yourselves.
I have enjoyed following so many fellow photographers and photo bloggers and I only wish I had more time to engage and comment on your great work. I look forward to more great pictures in 2019. I wish you all a blessed new year full of everything you are passionate about.
Myself, I am looking forward to a break from the 365 Project. I do plan to post at least one photo a week. I have struggled these past several months. I have been less inspired and motivated than I was earlier in the year and felt that my images reflected this lack of enthusiasm. But, I persisted and learned a lot along the way and I have to thank you all for your support and for the inspiration you have provided.
Today's picture may not be my best image, but is represents the highlight of this past year. I spent many months planning my pilgrimage through northern Spain. My Camino trip was incredible and memorable for so many reason and I loved sharing it on this Photoblog for followers, friends and family.
This image is a shot from Alameda Park above the city of the Santiago de Compostela. I will remember it always.
