Traffic at the Bird Feeder

by Heike December. 11, 2017 1055 views

Yesterday was the second sunday we had snow here. As long as it's on the weekend, it's okay for me, during the week it's a different story, because usually one single snowflake is causing chaos on the roads around Frankfurt, and I need to calculate an hour more to reach the office by car.

That are the moments I wish I had wings, like this little fellows who visited the bird feeder yesterday afternoon.

(Öhm...if there is a wishmaker outside - don't understand me wrong, I want wings additionaly - not instead !! I definitely want to keep my arms and hands, to make sure I'm able to open the fridge by myself....) :-)

Thanks you so much, Pete ! I love to watch them. The bluetits are really sweet and colorful - and, although they are smaler - not so scared, than the sparrows.

You've already used two wishes, only one left smile  Love all the buzz around that bird feeder.

) grin

Thanks for your comment, Peter.
Yes, there is a 'gang' of around 25 sparrows around here, they frequently do check the neighbourhood for food.
We have also some chickadees and bluetits and I see regulary one robin, but he seems to be a bit afraid of the sparrow-gang. I also tried to make a photo of him, but he was too quick.
