Camellia's Amaryllis (edited with permission)

by Heike February. 28, 2019 1420 views

Camellia uploaded today a beautiful picture of her faded Amaryllis.

I loved it so much, that I wrote her, if it would be mine, I would like to edit it, not because I think I could make a better version - no, only because I wanted to find out how many editing-potential it has. Camellia's answer : 'Heike go ahead and edit it. I would love to see what your image would look like.' Ok, said and done!

So all credit goes to the charming Camellia !

Thanks so much Camellia !!!

Thank you Ros! I like editing very much and my fav here is also the last one. Camellias image was a quite good source, because the light setting was perfect for the conversion into this dark black-blue.

Wow all edits are stunning in their own way and what a difference each tone makes! Well done

Stunning! Rather metallic feeling feels like a toning effect that we used to do for black and white prints. Original photo possesses very  beauty but the modified one looks like a fine model on the runway. Very attractive black is deep in there. smile

#1, #3 and finally #4 are my favorites with #4 being at the top of the list. The black is ominous. It's not that I don't like #2 but I feel the colors in the other three are more intense. Nicely done Heike, what app did you use?
