Greta the goose

by Heike July. 01, 2019 1040 views

I saw this little donkey guy in a wildlife park amongst deers, sheep, rabbits etc... A lot of the animals are running free inside the area and can be petted and feeded by the kids - and of course also by the adults, they enjoyed it as much as the kids. No question this little donkey was very cute, but the goose on the left side was my favourite model in the end.

Greta : "Hey giant, do you want a really cool shot, in a really cool location with a really cool and beautiful model? Than follow me!'

Greta : "Hey giant, do you want a really cool shot, in a really cool location with a really cool and beautiful model? Than follow me!'

She craweld under the fence and her next station was Herby the sheep.

Greta:"Hey Herby, here is a giant who wants to shoot me ...No worries - with a camera.... Give her a model release form, please."

Greta:"Hey Herby, here is a giant who wants to shoot me ...No worries - with a camera.... Give her a model release form, please."

After the formalities were done, she again craweld under the fence and waddeled into direction lake.

Greta: "Check your settings giant, you only have ONE shot before I jump into the water!"

Greta: "Check your settings giant, you only have ONE shot before I jump into the water!"

She looked for the perfect place and presented me her best pose with the most seductive goose-look I ever saw!

Greta: 'You want me sexy? You get me sexy..."

Greta: 'You want me sexy? You get me sexy..."

After this shot she jumped into the water where her boyfriend already waited, you may see his back in the left corner of the above photo. (Hard to recognize, he was quite shy.)

I have rarely worked with such a professional model (apart from Puffy the cat...) ! 😀

I see that Greta knew that you were shooting her. It's quite clear from her look from the picture #4 and she was so generous to allow her to be shoot with such a glamorous pose. smile I do envy you that you have such a wonderful models to shoot. I do.

Thank you Peter! In former times, geese have been used in place of guard dogs. They are very territorial and they are not easy to bribe, I heard. smile

Thank you Camellia. #4 is so clichéd, - I mean it positiv. Geese look best on flower meadows.smile

Love your story, Heike. Who knew that a goose could lead you on such a wild goose chase (or in this case, a tame goose chase). I really like photo #1- Greta looks poised to take over the photo shoot right from the start!
