My name is Heike, I'm living in Germany near Frankfurt.
Since a few years, Photography is a hobby of mine. I noticed, it makes me more aware of the things around me, also when I don't have a camera in my hand. I pay more attention to light and shadows, details of little things, blurr and sharpness, the energy of moments and also emotions.

I love shooting flowers, I'm fascinated by their colors, diversity, beauty and fragility. Even when they are withered, there is still beauty inside.
- And... you don't have to ask them for permission, if you put their photo online. :-)

But at least I do enjoy to shoot also other things around me.
