The Rose window is a western glass roof of the Cathedral of Metz occupies the upper two-thirds of the facade of the Cathedral of St. Etienne of Metz, above the main portal. It was created in 1384 by master glassmaker Hermann de Münster (c.1330-1392). The glass roof has monumental proportions: Twenty-eight meters high, thirteen meters wide. Its rosette is of the type of the "Rota", a rose with a radial composition of eleven meters in diameter.
