When I am feeling nostalgic, I set the image review on my camera to black and white, limit my picture-taking to 35 exposures, and head out on a photo walk or set up a tabletop still-life (if the weather is not conducive to an outdoor session). Black and white film and a 35 mm camera was pretty much all I had when I first got interested in photography.
I got the idea from a photography blog article suggesting ways to mimic the experience of shooting black and white film, including limiting exposures, shooting in manual mode. I do, however, usually stick with aperture priority. My old Minolta 35 mm had that feature—ahh memories. The photos in this post were taken at different times over the past year or so.
