Ubud: Ubud palace, Mei Goreng (friend noodles and egg, inside of a classroom of a school for the disabled that we visited: we ate there and donated money towards the school. The students were rehearsing for Ubud's Got Talent (bottom middle), and our lovely view of the Campuhan Ridge Trail (we walked it at sunrise, before our skin would melt). Finally, some lovely chicken satay skewers from Ubud market. James stirring the Luwak coffee beans - basically the luwak eats the coffee bean, but can't digest it, so inevitibly poos out the coffee bean - they dry it, roast it, etc - and make coffee with it. A delicacy: delicious, ordinary coffee. Our tour guide Bagoes (Bagoosh) called it a catpoocino! Hindu Temple We went to Jambaran Beach and had a seafood dinner - this was the sunset. Our seafood banquet - we insisted our tour guide eat with us, and he didn't know what to say. No guests had ever done that before. He had earlier told us about his family and how they only have rice, 3 times a day, with a small amount of vegetables or one egg between 7 of them. It was such a pleasure to know he'd had a nice meal.
