'Tis a Gift to be Simple

Even though this is a Shaker song, I came from a long line of Quakers, whose belief was to live a simple life.

'Tis the gift to be simple,
'tis the gift to be free,
'tis the gift to come down
where we ought to be,
and when we find ourselves in the place just right,
'twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gained
to bow and to bend we shan't be ashamed,
to turn, turn, will be our delight
till by turning, turning we come round right.

Sometimes it the simple things that are the best in life. [youtube.com]
Life on a farm is a simple life, it is about the seasons and cycles.

This is worthy of being featured in a gardening or outdoor living magazine. (^_^)b
