Tiananmen Square is the world’s largest public square, a vast desert of paving stone at the very heart of Beijing. In 1976 one million people jammed the square to pay the last respect to Mao Tse-Tung and here every morning is raised the flag of China.

these kite photographs are beautiful.
- your comments about being in beijing for a finance course and all you see are numbers: these photographs remind me of that orderliness too - they are so much about pattern, repetition etc.. i find that all quite interesting.

These have great lines. The pale color of the sky is very pretty. I like the composition of #2 especially.
