A Galactic Arm

    A fairly clear view of the Milky Way. Also visible is the Andromeda Galaxy, an impressive 2.5 million light years away. You can faintly distinguish the circular shape, as it is a spiral galaxy similar to our own. Cassiopeia is visible just below and to the left of Andromeda, in a distinct "M" shape. Just below Cassiopeia is the Double Cluster, one of my favorite spacial objects.
