Day 37: Lone Ficus

The day was winding down and wasn't sure exactly what the photo(s) would be for the day. I had taken a solo photo of a nice pond reflection this morning on the way to work. However, it just didn't do it for me…at least not for today.

I had several things to do and places to run later on in the evening so I was kind of scatter-brained. Then, for some reason, I glanced over into the corner or our living room and caught the sun shining through the window, being diffused somewhat by the large blinds and cascading across our ficus tree. I couldn't pass it up. I took 30-40 shots and narrowed it down these three. #3 is by far my favorite. (I also played around for the first time with the vignette feature in Photoshop's Lightroom 3 beta…great app.)
