Day 59: Afternoon Stroll, part 1

by Scott April. 09, 2010 2897 views

It's my turn to “take a shot” at photographing some of my most favorite early Spring flowers…the Tulip.

Just down from our office complex is a newly formed concrete walking trail. The trail winds down along a small creek that runs behind many of the offices…several of which have put in some pretty decent landscaping. Makes several nice areas to pull out the camera and start shooting.

Location: Rogers, AR
Camera: Canon · EOS Digital Rebel Xsi
Lens: Tamron · AF 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC [dpreview.com]

I love the yellow “flaw” in this tulip…so cool.

I'm still astounded by the crispness and sharp focus of that lens! These are great shots...#1 takes the cake, though. Great composition and focus.

Great shots, Scott. (BTW, Katlover, or Gloria, is a very accomplished photographer, so a 'good job' from her is a big deal!)
