My Best Photo 2010

I had never heard of HDR before this year. However, as I looked through this past year's photos there were several HDR photos that made it into my list of “finalists”.

I'm not exactly sure why I like this particular photo. All I know is that I keep coming back to take a look at it.

This photo is from my post on 11/23/2010 called HDR Landscapes [photoblog.com].

Location: Rogers, AR
Camera: Canon · EOS 7D
Lens: Tamron · AF 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC [dpreview.com]

I love how the branches are reaching up toward the beautiful clouded blue sky! Very nicely done HDR! Wonderful choice!

You know, that you keep coming back to it tells it all. And it is a beautiful tree, well framed by you.

Scott, you've posted some beauties this year, but this is a classic. Enlarged, it looks almost 3-dimensional. Wonderful shot and edit. I've enjoyed getting to know you and seeing your great photography here on PB - and I've really appreciated your nice comments!

I like the angle and especially this kind of HDR where you not realize at the first glance that it is one
