Earth Hour 2019

by Sylvia Warren March. 31, 2019 290 views

For many years now, we have participated in Earth Hour, in which we turn our lights off between 8:30pm-9:30pm. The date usually falls toward the end of March, on a Saturday. It is an international movement to draw attention to climate change and show commitment to protecting nature.

So... what did we do during Earth Hour last night? We light candles, attempt to read by candlelight or battery powered headlamps, meditate, talk, or.... take a photo or two.

I love how the shadow from the lantern on this shelf looks like a light bulb....

Ha, Earth hour is easy for me...I'm in bed by 8:30 smile
I did go outside and look at the stars through the binoculars though...the Pleiades are wonderful right now.
