Yoshie close call

by Ines Ganteaume October. 08, 2017 880 views

Everyday Yoshie goes outside to the balcony to enjoy her freedom out of the cage. She talks to herself, whistles to any one waking by, sometimes she believes she is a cat, other days she believes she is a dog.

Today, just like any other day, she goes outside. I'm inside working on the computer, and all of suden I hear her making an unusual sound. When I turn around to see what is happening, all I see is a HUGE HAWK on the rail of my balcony. I sprung into action and rescued my girl. The Hawk flew to the branch and sat there looking at me. I got Yoshie inside and grabbed my camera but when I went back out she had flown away.

Glad you didn't lose your bird! I guess the cage provides safety, as well as containment....

Love the story and love Yoshie! grinning
A neighbour had for a very long time a grey parrot, which was a dear family member. He was exceptionally with his voice. He didn't just talk to himself, he rang first! He started always with some ringtune ...
And the dog was his special project. He liked to make the dog hysterical with barking, or catlike sounds.
