Alligator at Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, Parkland, FL

On Christmas day my son and I went on a nice walk at Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, Parkland, FL. One of my favorite places for taking pictures. This time we saw a huge alligator that became my model.

There he was.... I guess more that 10 feet. Enjoying the sunset.

This picture is a bit blurry... but look at those teeth!!!! An adult alligator has between 74 to 84 teeth. Can you believe that that "alligators go through 2,000 to 3,000 teeth in a lifetime". That is a lot of teeth!

Another shot... He sure is long and fast. He was swimming towards us. But don't worry we were far from him!

So he finally came to the edge and just stayed there waiting... I wonder what he was waiting for?

That's thrilling. All I meet during a little walk are some ducks, (sometimes...) smile

Ducks are fun to too.  We have a lot around here.
