Day 5: Flame

This picture took roughly half an hour to perfect. I placed the candle in my room with the blackout curtains closed and light switched off, thinking the flame’s light would suffice. When I clicked, I was proved wrong. The picture was extremely underexposed.

Next, I tried opening the curtains, but that didn’t work either. Then, I switched my yellow desk lamp on. The lighting improved but not enough. So, I brought the candle closer and closer to the lamp.

Finally, after many attempts, the light shined exactly how I pictured it in my head.
