StoryCubes

by Prissha S June. 17, 2021 200 views

This is a narrative game called StoryCubes that I had bought years ago. The rules are simple- You roll all the dice together and make a story out of the pictures that you get. Simple, but it feeds your creativity.

I wanted to amplify the 'Story' aspect of the game, so I placed the box on a book and took an overhead shot. For another composition, I placed it on a wooden stool.

I'm on the fence over which one is better. What do you think?

Both are good, but I prefer #2.  In #2 I can see and understand the cubes better; also, in #1 the book is a bit distracting.

I like them both. Each tells its own story.

I like #2. It looks a lot more interesting. The game itself sounds interesting too, but I think I will fail miserably at it.
