Futile Tears

Last March a heavy snowfall surprised us while we were in the woods. I loved that moment. My mama carried this silly lantern we used for some photographs. She was walking toward the house as I photographed her.
She would write:

'I freeze within the sigh of an old woman who plunders the woods in search of the years she has lost, counting pleasant memories and dropping futile tears'

That is magnificent. Her words are beautiful and compliment the picture of her.
