I had a dream. I beat up a thug. The police caught me and led me to face the justice. President Obama legally pardoned me. It was great to meet him in person. My friend said my dream was a classic case of Id/Ego/Superego scenario. I need to mention that my middle name is Zygmunt.

I think that creative people, artists any kind should never lose their egos… it is an important ingredient of their talent; they don’t see things objectively because their own ego is in the foreground of their work. And if you were able to put your dream so wonderfully and creative in an image by interpreting it as a methaphor, that’s enough, it doesn’t need to be analyzed. Anyway, I believe that dreams are not a wish to be fulfilled but rather a spontaneous self-portrayal. And I wonder if you rather have your dreams interpret your life, or your life to interpret your dreams.

I love dreams. I lived with a woman once who was studying psychoanalysis. At breakfast I would always forget and start telling her my dreams.... goldfish in victorian blue and white (and beautiful) toilet bowl for example..... I'd remember, too late, when I looked up and saw her avid attention. she unravelled them with disturbing accuracy.
