Riga part 1

First off let me start by apologizing beforehand- there will be a lot of "Riga" albums because I can only post ten photos per album and I have a lot of photos. I'll differentiate them in the title though!

Today was day one in Riga and I am in love! Riga has far exceeded my expectations with all of its parks, and beautiful flowers and It's charm and I really enjoyed exploring it. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain all day, and if it does I have my umbrella handy and will make my way to a few museums before settling down in this super cool "tree fort" cafe for the afternoon to read. If I luck out however, and the weather complies then I will be heading to a popular local beach to read and then exploring some more parks! Either way, it will be a fun day number two :)

My hostel room (was empty when I got here but sadly has now filled up). I'm in the top bunk in the corner.

This photo doesn't look like anything special, but this is what the children's sections of parks in Riga are like; they have the normal playsets but then also huge trampolines and tons of toys to rent (it gets better, you'll see in other pics)

Everywhere you looked there were children driving mini cars

Not a great photo, but wanted to show the contrast in the buildings. Old Russian Cathedral on the left, super modern Radisson Blu in the middle and a more traditional European style building on the right. Riga has quite the blend of architecture throughout the city.

Everywhere.

Everywhere.

So, so many of them. (Low key would've loved one myself, not going to lie).
