After visiting Jurmala, I went and spent a few hours reading at Aspara Tea House (my tree fort cafe!). It was lovely to have a break from the rain and to cozy up with a cup of peppermint tea for the afternoon. Following that, I headed to Paul Stradin's Museum of the History of Medicine which was very interesting, to say the least. Quite honestly, as informative and unique as the museum was (it's the third largest of its kind in the world), it was hard for me to stomach everything inside. I did my best though and spent almost an hour looking at medieval aged tools and reading about ground breaking experiments that had been made- like the Two Headed Dog. The museum was my final outing of the day, and I headed back to my hostel for dinner and an early evening in.
